After your free consultation, we can begin to prepare for the implant surgery by performing a cone beam CT (CBCT) scan of your jaw and oral structure. This will show us the amount of bone you have in your jaw and the location of nerves. When placing full arch dental implants, we utilize the areas of your jaw with most bone but may also need to perform bone grafting treatment if bone loss has occurred. We take the information from your CBCT scan and create a dental implant guide, which provides the exact location, angle and depth for surgery. This removes room for error and gives you the best results for you implants.
