The process starts with an initial consultation with Dr. Richard Weimar to determine if a patient is a good fit for veneers. Most individuals with good oral health, free from decay and disease, and who take proper care of their smiles with routine visits and home habits are often suitable candidates. Once patients decide to move forward with getting porcelain veneers, they can have their natural tooth prepped by removing a thin layer of the enamel. Impressions are taken and used by a ceramist to fabricate the veneer to match the patient’s existing smile. Patients return for a second appointment to have the veneers bonded in place.

Dr. Richard Weimar received his BA and DDS degrees from the University of Minnesota and opened his practice in 1984. He has provided exceptional dental care to Minnesota’s Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park communities for over 30 years.
