Implants are composed of a titanium post, an abutment (connector), and prosthetic teeth, all of which play a significant role in restoring the beauty and functionality of your smile. The titanium post (implant) is inserted into your jawbone to function like a tooth root. This post becomes the foundation for your replacement tooth/teeth. Once the implant has fused with your bone system, a process that takes several months to complete, we’ll attach the abutment on top to support your new prosthetics. Your replacement teeth are permanently attached to the abutment to complete your treatment.

If you’re replacing individual teeth, a dental crown will be used as your prosthetic. To replace multiple teeth, we’ll use a dental bridge. To replace all of your teeth, we’ll fabricate a set of custom-fitted dentures for your use.
