About Dentures

Porcelain dentures last longer than acrylic dentures, are easy to adjust to, and closely resemble the color and sheen of natural teeth for a natural-looking appearance. Porcelain dentures do have a few drawbacks. They’re pretty fragile and can chip or break easily if accidentally dropped on hard flooring. Their hard composition can also wear down natural teeth when biting and chewing. That’s why they’re mainly used for full dentures that replace all your teeth.

Dr. Richard Weimar received his BA and DDS degrees from the University of Minnesota and opened his practice in 1984. He has provided exceptional dental care to Minnesota’s Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park communities for over 30 years.
