Getting a full set of replacement teeth in a single day sounds almost too good to be true, but it’s a real, well-established process at Weimar Family & Implant Dentistry. Here’s what actually happens between your first consultation and walking out with a new smile.
Everything starts with evaluating your overall health and discussing your smile goals. This is where Dr. Weimar determines whether same day teeth are a realistic fit for your situation or whether some preparation is needed first.
A cone beam CT scan gives a detailed 3D view of your jawbone volume and the location of nerves, which is essential information for planning implant placement safely and precisely.
Not every patient has enough bone to support implants right away. When bone grafting is necessary, it’s addressed before or alongside your implant procedure to give the implants a solid foundation.
The CBCT data is used to create a custom surgical guide that specifies exactly where each implant goes, at what angle, and how deep. This level of planning is part of what makes placing a full arch of implants in one visit possible.
Full arch implants are placed, and a complete set of replacement teeth is attached that same day. Patients leave with a functional new smile rather than waiting months between surgery and restoration.
For patients who feel nervous about the process, sedation dentistry, including IV sedation, is available to keep the experience as comfortable as possible.
Same day teeth are generally designed for people dealing with complete tooth loss or multiple failing teeth. Dr. Weimar has completed training through the TeethXpress® Full Arch Immediate Load course specifically for this kind of case.
Every case is different, and the only way to know your specific timeline and candidacy is through a consultation. Schedule your free implant consultation to find out whether same day teeth could work for you.
